Sandra (Levitin) Morgan is the Founder/CEO/Editor in Chief of Kalön Women (www.kalonwomen.com), an online magazine and blog, Kalon Communities – a networking community, Kalon Klicks – a business directory, and Morning Coffee with Sandra radio show – all designed and geared toward supporting her rapidly growing 65,000 subscriber base of women forty plus. She is also a Mid-Life Strategist who specializes in supporting women through the myriad of life changes after forty.
Appointed to the 2011 Board of Directors for IMMN (International Mature Marketing Network)
In recognition and appreciation of Sandra’s commitment to volunteer service, she was awarded The President’s Call to Service Award in 2010 for over 4,000 hours of volunteer service.
Sandra has been writing since she could hold a crayon, growing to love the feel of a pencil in her hand and the sound it makes when connecting to paper. Sandra is a published poet, working on two manuscripts and a children’s book with her 12 year old granddaughter.
Her first book, Learning How to Hop…Again will be on store shelves and in book stores September 2011.
Sandra’s experience and leadership capabilities for the past 30 years led her to be a top salesperson, sales manager and sales trainer for several national and international companies. As a top leader in her field, she moved companies into guiding their training efforts toward the topics of: Developing a Success Blueprint ▪ Creating a Personal Brand ▪ Evaluating “First Impressions” ▪ The Art of Selling ▪ How to Convey Who You Are and What You Do.
In 2002 she became the General Manager of a real estate business, contributing her knowledge and experience to the 800 Realtors under their brokerage. Although she enjoyed the challenges, there was still something missing.
After making a tough decision, Sandra decided to leave the corporate environment in 2008 and fulfill a 15 year dream of creating a magazine for women forty plus that started with a friend who died from metastatic breast cancer before they could see it through together. Sandra and a few of her friends also began talking about what direction they each wanted their lives to take.
Kalön Women was born as a way for us to reach out to other women sharing similar journeys to share our professional and life experiences, enriching one another along the way – all with a touch of humor, which Sandra says is so important because as women, we forget how to laugh and play.
